This wine has a vibrant purple hue that leads to a firmly structured wine with tannins and oak seamlessly woven through a palate that springs to life with juicy dark cherry fruit.

Charcuterie in a glass. Meaty and smokey, dark plums and dark cherry fruit sit in the driver’s seat. There’s plenty of depth on offer here with spicy sausage chiming in. Big and sapping, robust tannins draw moisture from the mouth. Definitely a food wine, perhaps an afternoon meat board or pizza and pasta dishes but I could be tempted by paella.
